Obama's use of technology

Interesting NYtimes.com article that came from Prof. John Kim...It talks about the Obama campaign using social networks as a resource of power to garner support and strengthen Obama's connection to the public...It obviously worked.

I read this article too, I think it's interesting to see how the media played out in this years presidential election. The internet has been a critical tool in helping the Obama campaign and I think the technique went unnoticed by McCain campaigners. Obama was able to reach out to the young voter via social networking sites like Facebook and get his voice out there. This use of campaigning is different from all the other elections and shows just how big of a role media can play.
